Output vs Throughput

Output is how much effort was spent digging through thorns.

Throughput is how much usable fruit actually made it through the system.

When I look at small-to-mid-sized operational businesses, I ask:
What is the simplest structural change that increases throughput?

I don’t want businesses to simply look busy and worn out.

I want them producing the fruit they were built to produce.
